Dear All, As you all know Dad passed away on New Years Eve last year and, although his C.O.P.D. was not the direct cause of his death, I believe that it was a contributing factor. In light of this I have decided to set up this "Breath of Life Fund", with the British Lung Foundation, in his memory. I thought that this charity would be particularly apt as Dad suffered from C.O.P.D for the last couple of years of his life; Mum died of bronchial pneumonia 31 years ago; and I am an asthma sufferer. As we are nearing the anniversary of his death, I have decided that I would like donations to be made to this fund instead of you giving me Christmas presents. Please give whatever you can. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who came to Dad's funeral and those who helped Dean and myself during the past year. Mark.
